About Dr. Clay Hollis Chappell
Dr. Chappell received his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude from the University of Georgia. He received his medical degree, cum laude, from Emory University School of Medicine and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Dr. Chappell completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Emory.
Dr. Chappell is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. He also holds certification in Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular Imaging, and Endovascular Medicine. He is the current Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at St. Mary’s Hospital. Dr. Chappell also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Georgia Regents University | University of Georgia Medical Partnership.
